Owner and Advanced Esthetician, Shaylee Strauss, uses different intuitive practices to enhance your experience at Raw Rooted Beauty. She believes that what’s happening inside will reflect on the outside. Her mission is to help her clients create balance + total well-being to achieve healthy, glowing skin and confidence on all beauty levels.

THE PRODUCTS

Image Skincare uses 100% plant-based, botanical ingredients that are sourced with intention to create mindful skincare products that deliver real results. All formulated WITHOUT parabens, phthatlates, mineral oil, artificial fragrances and synthetic dyes. The sun care formulas never contain oxybenzone.

Image Skincare was founded by an Esthetician and developed by a Plastic Surgeon. They have pioneered clean and clinically tested skincare products that are physician formulated to help you feel the most confident in your skincare - and your skin.

All skincare I use and other retail items in my treatment room are cruelty free. I do not believe in animal testing and will never carry or support any company that does so. Raw Rooted Beauty is proudly cruelty free - always will be.

Meet Shay

Shaylee Strauss is an Advanced Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Esthetics Teacher, Master Lash Technician, and Professional Makeup Artist. Shay started her career in Toronto, CA studying at CMU the College of Makeup Art and Design and graduated with an associates degree in Complete Makeup Artistry . After living in Canada perfecting her skills for a year and a half, she moved back home to Toledo to then achieve her Advanced Esthetician License at The Toledo Academy of Beauty and her Master Lash Technician Certification from LuxGlam Co. She also continued on to get her Esthetics Teacher License and now teaches different Certification Courses. Shaylee preforms all things beauty including skincare, makeup, waxing, lashes, and brows through her small business Raw Rooted Beauty LLC. She is over the moon that she gets to do what she loves everyday, all while making genuine connections with everyone she meets.
